Jr/ Sr. Mathematics

I am excited to be back into the swing of things after taking a year off to stay home with my beautiful baby girl, Grace. Marwayne is such a wonderful and caring community which I am proud to call home for the last 7 years. I was a student teacher in Marwayne in the spring of 2012 and was hired shortly after. This is the only school I have worked in and am loving it.

My main focus in the school is teaching mathematics. I teach grades 9 to 12 this year. I love being able to see the students build their knowledge from one year to the next. You can also see me in the gym teaching physical education 7/8 or else teaching outdoor education. I have coached senior girls volleyball and junior high badminton but am taking the year off to adjust to being a working parent.

I am not far from home since my family farm was close and I attended Kitscoty school growing up. My favourite thing to do these days is spend time with Gracie. I also love playing hockey, volleyball, and badminton. We are big outdoor people so in the summer we are usually at the lake, fishing, gardening, or golfing.
